1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Dexil ("the Platform"), operated by Undrstnd AI ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Dexil is an AI-powered strategic intelligence platform that generates structured analytical reports using multi-agent AI systems. The Platform processes user inputs through specialised AI workflows and returns sourced, attributed analysis.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

4. Billing, Credits, and Subscriptions

Dexil operates on a credit-based usage model. Personal workspaces may receive a limited introductory trial allocation. Additional usage is enabled through paid subscriptions and, where offered, credit-pack purchases.

Team plans are sold to organisation workspaces and may be subject to minimum billed seat quantities. Credit balances, included allocations, and billing-cycle resets are described on our pricing page and in the product checkout flow.

Subscription billing and payment processing are handled through Paddle, our merchant of record. You authorize Paddle and Dexil to charge the payment method you provide for the applicable recurring or one-time charges.

You can cancel your subscription from the billing settings provided in the Platform or via the billing links we provide. Refunds, if any, are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use the Platform to generate content that is illegal, harmful, misleading, infringes third-party rights, or violates any applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of the inputs, source materials, and other content you provide to the Platform. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use the analytical outputs generated for you by the Platform for your internal business purposes.

Our Platform

The Platform, including its methodology, AI workflows, software, user interface, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property, is owned by Undrstnd AI or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of the Platform itself.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Dexil generates analysis using AI systems. Outputs may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or outdated information. The Platform does not provide legal, investment, accounting, or other regulated professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs before relying on them.

8. Data Handling

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not use customer data to train our AI models or the third-party models we call on your behalf, and we do not share your private analysis inputs or outputs with other customers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Undrstnd AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, business interruption, or data arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Platform, our customers, or third parties. You may stop using the Platform at any time. On termination, your right to use the Platform ends immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, unless another law is required by applicable consumer protection legislation.
